and so it goes

Blipfoto told me yesterday that today would be 4,500 so I"m a bit sorry that I couldn't come up with a spectacular pic for such a grand number - but on the other hand it is appropriate that today's photo is of Rufus on his last walk in the park in England this time round as within an hour of this pic being taken, he was on the road back to Turkey!  I follow him tomorrow evening. 

Feeling weird about being without him when the driver, Mick, sent me photos - Rufus is enamoured of the lady dog in the adjacent crate - and they are the only two woofers on the bus. It's going to be a five day romance :) Then I got more photos of the two of them in France on  walkabout together - he's clearly absolutely fine.

The rest of my day revolved around packing and doing all the things you have to do before travel and going away for months. Also, Maddy and her b/f were here - he cut the grass and did a wonderful job of tidying my garden - marvellous! 

I took a break from packing to go to the Gardeners for dinner early evening with bro and Jo. Once back home it's been an evening of more sorting and packing.  Maddy and her b/f are staying tonight so all in all it's been quite a noisy busy day.

oh, and the weather was incredibly gorgeously hot! Why go to Turkey I hear you ask.....
