Sunday ...

... Funday.

Today was much colder and windier than the past few days.  But that didn't stop us from getting out for a walk ... and some shopping.

When we returned I sat in the greenhouse ... which showed a temp of 101° F as there was plenty of sun.  It was late in the afternoon by this time but I still hadn't gotten the pictures that I was after earlier in the day ... namely of the squirrels. 

I was rather pleased when this beautiful male Northern Cardinal perched on the fence for me.  The wind was whipping up his crown rather nicely I thought.  

I really had a hard time deciding on this photo or the one I've posted on Facebook.  But birds will almost always win out!
