The Metolius River

We’re staying in Camp Sherman which is in Central Oregon- high desert country. There’s very little cell phone reception so I’m posting from the Sisters Saloon, where we’re eating dinner.

We had a fantastic hike today along the Metolius River - 6 miles round trip. We stopped for a picnic at the Wizard Falls Fish Hatchery - fascinating. If you haven’t had a chance to experience the Metolius River, it’s well worth the visit!
