The day started like all Sunday's lately, a mile walk to the bakery to pick up a treat for mom, an easy drive to see her and... My mom was feeling good enough to be in the wheelchair today, she had a lovely haircut and looked well. I normally stay over 6 hours with my mom on Sunday but today, it was only 4. Although she had her typical appetite, her speech was all over the place. She kept insisting that friends were in the room and couldn't understand why they weren't answering her. Her caregiver and I kept distracting her with pictures of my blips, your blips, family photos and nothing seemed to settle her today. We could see she was extremely tired and frustrated so we suggested she take a nap. She agreed and I headed home. Sigh... Hopefully next Sunday will be better.
