The Providence Of God

We may not be sure about who wrote the book of Ruth or exactly when it was written, but  evidently the story of Ruth is important enough to God that He inspired the author to write it and to make it a part of the Bible and there is much we can learn from it about how God works in our lives through the providence of discipline and the providence of grace.  We began our service  with a congregational hymn about praising God, followed by the welcome from Daniel and Pastor Wes.  The choir and orchestra and all our talented accompanists presented  an uplifting arrangement by one of our own of the anthem, "Praise The Lord, Ye Heavens Adore Him" after which the congregation joined in a few more songs, before Pastor Wes began our introduction to the book of Ruth which I mentioned at the beginning of this recap, so I will not do it again here,because I am running out of time.  At the end of the service, we recognized the achievements of some Awana members and one profession of faith......
