The Big Nose
Did a mini-tour today. First we headed down to the Glenkinchie distillery near Pencaitland and took the tour & tasting. Apparently their 12 year old malt is known as a breakfast whisky because it's so smooth; can't disagree with that so it was OK to sample it in the morning. Preferred it to the 14 year old which had aged another couple of years in a sherry cask but I think I was in a minority of one!
Grabbed lunch in Haddington then headed on to the Museum of Flight at East Fortune which I'd never visited before. It was pretty interesting all round and seeing how small the Concorde is inside was amazing. I still like its nose!
Then a leisurely drive home along the coast, a pizza and a beer and we're ready for the Wii. Heaven help us!
