The view from Greenwich Park....
I grabbed the moment for a 'time out' opportunity over lunch time today and suggested Blackheath Village might be the place to be.
We ate a very big egg and bacon sandwich made as we watched, and dipped into a pot of humus while sitting on a bench outside Terry Waite's church on the heath and then walked over to Greenwich Park.
We joined the crowds of visitors taking in the truly fantastic view over towards London and the National Maritime Museum. SO much to see, recognise and name! So much that wasn't there even a short time ago!
We also climbed a spiral (ugh) staircase to the 28 inch Telescope Dome - some big machine - and mainly resolved we need to come back again soon. It was too crowded to get near the prime meridian of the world. So pleased we live near enough to get here easily.
I tried 360 panoramic on my camera, but failed. It worked perfectly at home! I think this wide angled shot shows a lot though.
