Still Cold

Temperature +7. Sun and cloud. Raining in the evening. Strong, cold wind from the Southwest.

I first took my car to the annual maintenance and inspection. I almost forgot the last one, although even had talked about it to Mr S some time ago :0  Suddenly in the morning I remembered that the deadline is next Monday. Luckily tire replacement times begin to be over and they had time to give me time for this week. Relief.

I also went to do a short ride on my moped around attracted by the sunshine. I had to go in soon to have a meal, but the cold didn't attract  staying longer.

In the Main there are wood anemones (Anemonoides nemorosa) by the stone wall in someone's yard. The wood anemone has already flowered a couple of weeks, about a month earlier than usual. In Extra there is a male mallard, female was quite near, but too much to the photo. They were swimming in the pond close to us, the same place as mallards before, but I haven't seen these birds in a couple of years. The pobd is quite full of everything, especially grass, other plants and fallen trees. I suppose they have found a better place.
