Cairngorms view
A quick roadside snap as we headed home this morning; from the A95 near Broomhill looking over the River Spey towards the Cairngorms. You can also see the track for the Strathspey Railway, with Broomhill station just in sight at the far right.
Extra collage of a couple of things spotted in Grantown-on-Spey before we departed.
I liked that the old A939 route to Tomintoul road sign is still on a wall at a junction, and Heart no.21 on the Highland Heart Trail is in the town’s main square, fundraising for the Highland Hospice. ‘A forest under a full moon’ by Jacquie Macintyre.
Back home, car washed, grass cut and ready to get back to the usual routine. Who knows, maybe that will also finally include a return to getting time to view and comment on other Blip journals, something I’ve really struggled to find time for these last few weeks.
