Sunset and Storm Clouds

What a day, sometimes I find the task of choosing one photo to blip such a dilemma!

This morning there was the one with the cat crying to come in - taken from an upstairs window. Then we had very heavy rain early this evening and I tried some shots of the rain running down the window. Then later we had a stunning rainbow right across the valley, and finally as the sun was setting even more storm clouds were gathering!

So here we are another view from our house and another sky scape with clouds!! Yes I confess I am a cloudaholic.

10.30 pm Quite excited tonight, I plan to stay up late to watch the The Perseids meteor shower!

I have a thick duvet, a sun lounger and a flask of coffee.
I will lie outside on the lawn and look up at the night sky from 12 midnight until 1am or until I fall asleep! Bernie would join me but he has been up since 4.30 this morning so is already in the land of nod.
Even without the meteor shower the sky is stunning tonight all clouds have cleared and the sky is a rich deep dark blue with lots of stars .
