the day of the triffids

a pea bean lettuce beetroot cabbage frenzy met me when I finally got to the allotment tonight.
I was so chuffed. Ramon has done sterling job watering, weeding and harvesting as I sauntered around North America amd Canada for month.
the first day back at work turned out to not quite be the first.
tomorrow.
so nice to be back in the garden but a lot of work needs done to keep the weeds at bay.
