"I KNOW WHERE I'M GOING, AND I KNOW WHO'S GOING ..
One thing I know about weekends, they are followed by Mondays and because I took Matthew back this morning, I was an hour late for work. I had already asked for permission, but it meant I didn't get home for lunch until 14.20 and by then I was feeling lousy. I had been fighting a headache all morning, taken Paracetamol to no effect and was glad just to be back.
After eating a couple of dry biscuits and ham (am alergic to yeast), I took 2 more paracetamol because the pain across my left eyebrow wasn't getting any better. I realised I was having a migraine attack, which I haven't had for years, and knew I just had to lie down.
Phoebe was very good and stayed by my side. I slept for over 2 hours, drank lots of water and felt strong enough to 'face the world' once again.
The above photo is a walk across the field from our house. We are always fascinated by the lay of the land and what could have caused all the undulations. It's hard to capture the vastness just with a camera but I hope you get a sense of what we call 'God's own Valley'.
Hope your weekend has been great and that Monday wasn't too painfull. The weather is changing, Robin birds have been making an Autumn 'tweet', and although it's still only August, I feel the hot sun has now left us.
Stay healthy, at peace with the world, and sleep well. Until we 'meet' again.
