Ruby Rose……

We have a new family member. Ruby Rose, a 16 week old Border Collie puppy. Here she is, this evening, happily chomping on a scrap of possum skin. A tasty morsel in her view. She came into our lives some time after the sad demise of my lovely Maisie. Letting go of Maisie around New Year was heartbreaking and I thought would never own another dog. However over 50 years of family dogs left their mark and I decided that I needed another dog in my life and as part of our family. Thus Ruby arrived as a small, adorable bundle of fur, melting our hearts. I am sure Keith would have loved her and Maisie would approve of our choice.
A special note…. Thank you all so much for your kind comments and congratulations yesterday on my getting to 4500 Blips. That special event sneaked up on me…. A complete surprise. … I do appreciate your friendship and support on my Blip journey. Arohanui.
