Gwnes i sylweddoli yn y pen draw nid oes angen i ffotograff y dydd a stori'r dydd gysylltu â'i gilydd o gwbl. Yr unig gysylltiad ydy roedden nhw'n digwydd ar yr un diwrnod.

Weithiau rydw i wedi 'arbed' fy ffotograff oherwydd rydyn ni wedi cael cynlluniau mawr yn hwyrach yn y dydd. Ac yna mae cynlluniau yn newid, neu doedd dim byd yn digwydd, neu doedd y ffotograffau ddim yn dda. Felly nawr rydw i'n tynnu ffotograff pan unrhywbeth yn tynnu fy sylw; pabïau'r cymydog, cysgodion ar y carped. Efallai na fyddant yn darlunio 'prif ddigwyddiad' y dydd, beth bynnag, rydyn nhw angen bod dim ond ffotograffau neis neu ddiddorol.

I eventually realized that the photograph of the day and the story of the day don't need to connect to each other at all. The only connection is that they happened on the same day.

Sometimes I've 'saved' my photograph because we've got big plans later in the day. And then plans change, or nothing happened, or the photographs weren't good. So now I take a photograph when anything catches my attention; the neighbour's poppies, shadows on the carpet. They may not depict the 'main event' of the day, however, they just need to be nice or interesting photographs.

Strangely enough, today was like this. I did some vacuuming (well, it's Tuesday), and took some photographs here and there. We were thinking about going to Lidl, but we decided to go tomorrow.

So here is a photograph of a leaf. I liked it because it has strange markings.
