…..digital sketches….

Our two white orchids are looking so beautiful at the moment so I thought I’d do a sketch of one of the beautiful flowers.

A very busy day, I had a phone call with a GP this morning via video which is the first time I’ve done this.  The doctor diagnosed my issues with my hands as Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, which is actually what I thought it was.  There’s not much I can do about it unless I go for steroid injections or surgery, neither of which I’d like to consider just now.  My new found love of sketching with my pencil and iPad seems to have made it worse to the point that I’m in pain overnight.  I’m not really prepared to give it up so I can wear a support when I’m sketching and a splint overnight.

I met my youngest for a quick coffee and saw his new Mac set up which he seemed pleased with.  I then spent an hour on the chat with Seagate after a drive I gave my youngest a couple of years ago, failed.  Unfortunately despite me giving it to him in 2022, he’d never used it and it remained in the box until yesterday.  On opening it, it wouldn’t connect to his Mac and despite doing all the trouble shooting they suggested, it won’t work.  I’m going to try our local computer repair shop tomorrow but I’m not hopeful it can be repaired.
