Les Aigles des Remparts, Provins

*Back blip* A very hot day in high 30s and we went to the wonderful medieval town of Provins. At one point this was the 3rd most important city in France after Paris and Reims due to its trade fairs. It has connections to Richard the Lionheart too.

As well as the wonderful buildings and museums there are medieval spectacles. We opted for the bird of prey display. It was very impressive with so many species and some in large numbers as as well horses, a camel and some dogs. This was the smallest of the birds in the show but oh so gorgeous.
