On a road trip

The kids love sitting on the back of the pickup ("bakkie") even though we are pretty high up in the mountains past Graaff Reinet. This is taken in Nieu Bethesda, famous for the owl house and fossils. We were heading off to visit some old friends who farm in a remote area about an hour north of there. It was a great drive though. We saw hundreds of huge Eland, several gray rhebok and kudu.
