Using Sauce

I got given this lovely old box from a very good friend, who was having a clear out. Tarnished and very dirty, I wondered how to clean it, then I remembered, someone had said to me about using sauce to clean ant metal if I haven't got the right polish... So, I thought I would give it a go.

To my amazement it worked !!! The box came up really nice and shinny, with all the dirty lifting off well. A little elbow grease helped too.
