IMPACT's School Health Programme, Kenya

IMPACT's School Health Programme in Kenya reaches out to impoverished children in over 100 schools in Kibwezi and Embu Districts.

These members of the community surrounding Kiametho Primary School have been trained as School Health Patrons to check pupils regularly for signs of illness or potentially disabling conditions and refer them for treatment where necessary. This enables us to push the walls of the health centre into the classroom; reaching many more children than would otherwise be possible.
