The gingerbread's got his hat on

Hip hip hip hurray. Clever, huh? Actually, it just overflowed its tin. Bits of it are lying on the oven floor. I've baked it for the barbeque that Tom's going to have here on Sunday while Richard and I are away. The recipe says that it improves with keeping for a few days, but we've never been able to put that to the test.
