Jersey Tiger Moths are Back

And beautiful, flashing past with their bright orange underwings, Euplagia quadripunctaria apparently is not shy as its body contains poisonous chemicals which is why it advertises with its bright colours. Wings closed, it looks like a hang glider as I said a year ago when I saw these for the first time.

Large is much more colourful somehow.
