a quilted sky

I hate to break it to you but as summer starts to make plans to leave us we're re-entering sky and sunset season in my castle in the sky, apologies in advance but the skies here are amazing.

I've never seen texture like this in a sky before. Much more orderly than my flat, which I was supposed to be tidying ready for visitors.
