RSA Columns

The classical columns of the RSA on the Mound have been coloured in to promote their summer exhibition - Peter Doig - No Foreign Lands. I'm not sure what Queen Victoria perched above the portico would have made of it.

ps. It would appear that this is blip no. 1095. I have to confess that I thought that I had at least one more day before hitting that landmark. My "calendar" anniversary is not for another couple of days but tonight 1095 feels pretty satisfactory.
