Tenedos Bay After A Long Day
We headed out this morning in search of a new moorage...and finally rolled into Tenedos Bay late in the day. It reminded me of looking for a "motel room" at the coast in August:)) We were being rather picky, as we hate stern ties (which is the norm here in Desolation Sound). We thought Pendrell Sound might be okay, but it was too deep everywhere. We went to Roscoe Bay (where we stayed the next night, but the tides were wrong, and you can enter only at high tide). We finally ended up at Tenedos which had the most beautiful dark chocolate brown cliffs everywhere...the rock formations were amazing and several actually hung out over the water (scary!!) There is a nearby fresh water lake to walk to...Lake Unwin.
