Swans

I stayed in town after work tonight as I had a ticket to see Swans at the Liquid Rooms. I'd never seen them live bofre but had heard them described by various friends who had as either the loudest, the most intense or the best band they'd ever seen live...

They had a wee bit to live up to then.

Live up to it they certainly did, they were awesome live. I remember thinking it didn't seem all that loud about ten minutes in then had to nip to teh loo and the tinnitus had kicked in already. It was a really good set and, while a youtube video can't even come close to doing it justice the tune of the night for me was oxygen.
