The Green Not the Pink

Busy, productive day of work--preparing classes, getting administrative duties done, editing one of my authors. Not much time for photography. This time of year it's easy to head outside for closeups and macros.

When I first looked through the view-finder at the plant it was the flower that drew my attention. But when I looked at the picture after taking it, the green of the plant and especially the budding flower kept pulling me away from the pink flower.
