Office Bound

Today I was a mentor, a model, and a human stain. Had some productive meetings (especially with Brian, who's an awesome and hard-working co-chair on the mentoring committee), and ended up spending most of the day in the office, trying to get some more work done in preparation for the beginning of the semester.

The EGSA stuff is going really well so far. I'm starting to worry a little bit about my work load in the fall, owing to the fact that I'm taking three classes, teaching two, and serving as co-chair on several committees, but I feel like I should be able to make it work if I just do as much preparation as possible before the semester begins. I don't know. I guess we'll find out.

Took this particular photo in my office when it was lightly raining outside for a bit. Seemed appropriate to take the picture where I spent a large chunk of my day. Took a while to get this particular shot, as my camera kept focusing on the smoke stacks instead of the water droplets, but I think it turned out.
