Red Wattlebird

I had a much better shot today (red-tail black cockatoo waking up from anaesthetic) ... but because it's work related I couldn't post it! So I took my camera out to the lunch table with me and managed to snap this red wattlebird (Anthochaera carunculata) while I was eating lunch. Good thing too as s*%! hit the fan in the afternoon (well just before lunch actually) and it was crazy for the rest of the day - didn't leave work til sundown.

Having a sneaky wine now and considering an early night to bed... feel emotionally and physically drained.
