What have the Romans ever done for us?

Well, among other things they built these wonderful mountain biking berms. This is part of an old Roman camp in Epping Forest. There are two or three of them and the embankments around the edges are still in good condition.

So when you are there you can imagine the Romans riding round on top of the banks on their bikes.
