N is for NEIGHBOURS
Was going to blip our house and our neighbours' houses too and use neighbourhood as my blip in the Alphabet Challenge, until I came home from shopping and saw our NEIGHBOURS changing the tyre on their Honda SUV. Commiserated with them, as a very large piece of metal was embedded in the tyre, and then went into our house whereupon Mr. HCB said he would go over and see if he could help in any way.
We live in a close of 4 houses and we all help each other out - which is great. Rik didn't actually need any help, so Mr. HCB just chatted and offered emotional support - a new tyre for this sort of vehicle is VERY expensive - and they need two front tyres too. As you can see Sandra was striking a womanly pose, so I took the opportunity to blip them all.
Whenever we go away (and you know we go quite a lot) these lovely neighbours look after our house and Lyn, our neighbour on the other side, looks after the garden, so we are truly blessed. Another good reason to stay here and good to be able to return the favour.
Rain stopped play in the garden, so Mr. HCB is now contemplating what he will do - his books need updating on the computer, and there is football on TV tonight, so probably won't see much of him!
So Joseph got up, took the child and his mother and went to the land of Israel…..
….he withdrew to the district of Galilee,
and he went and lived in a town called Nazareth.
So was fulfilled what was said through the prophets,
that he would be called a NAZARENE.
Matthew 2 : 21-23
