Heading home.

Had to hit the office today. Shock horror.
Still I managed to make an early escape, and as I often do, I missed the local train and rather than wait in Leeds I got the transpennine express and hopped off at Dewsbury to wait for the next local train there.
There's a choice in Dewsbury - sit on the platform benches or pop into the West Riding Refreshment Rooms. I wasn't in a drinking mood (though the selection of beers is exemplary) but I couldn't sit on a bench as painters had been there before me.
So it was a bit of a boring wait in the waiting room but still better than Leeds. Next time I might pop in for a coffee or something stronger.
