Mickey's water tower

Early start again but this time top go to Hollywood Studios. As normal the Gatton side of the family weren’t allowed to come and join us till the end of the day, as it’s so hot and crowded for the Monica / kids. Plan was to meet J's parents around 10.30 when they had got up and organised. With all the walking they are sleeping much better.

First up was a fast pass for the Aerosmith roller coaster before going to on the Star Tours ride. One of the best rides for me but then I still enjoy Starwars.

Went back to meet J's parents and headed over at the Indiana Jones show. From there it was back over to go on the Rocking Roller coaster. A great ride and the only one that goes upside down in Disney. Next up was lunch of Chicken and ribs.

After lunch we went to the Back lot tour before heading to see the Muppets 3D show. Not as good as Bugs Life yesterday but still quite good fun. This si a photo of the water tower on site that was used to feed the water supply to the studio. As with everything in Disney it has the mouse ears. In the front is one of the mock up planes used in Pearl Harbour film.

From there we had an ice cream while watching Beauty and the beast before going on the Tower of Terror ride. Great fun one of the best so far.

After that it was Toy story. A great ride where you get to shoot a gun in 3D. Even better as I beat J. Just as we went in J's brother rang to say he was here. Unfortunately I just happened to miss the call till we go out of Toy Story to allow Cath and Dave to enjoy it.
Met up with the others once they had come out of Beauty and the Beast and went to the Little Mermaid ride.

From there it was the area where you can see how cartoons are made. Great interactive cartoon with the dragon from Mulan. While we were watching that the others waited to have their photo taken with Mickey Mouse. Managed to shake the mouse hand. I now feel complete.

Next up was a return visit to the Tower of Terror, this time with J's brother and Kira. It was a long queue, as we didn't have fast passes, which upset Monica, as she had to wait around and do nothing with the small one. No reason why they couldn’t have come on the ride as well but hoo hum, never mind. At least Kira enjoyed herself.
It was then some food and time to head home.
