Too young

Was struck by the power of media this weekend. An old friend passed away, quite distant now but able to be in touch through facebook. I found the sad news out through the BBC, got in touch with her closest friends through email when I heard, and was heartbroken to see her beautiful face again tonight on the BBC where it all the sad news began. Although everyone says nice things about people who pass away...she really was a special one. We lost touch because she went on global adventures and enjoyed the fullness of life. And had so many more adventures planned...im gutted. And a reminder of how amazing yet fragile life is.
