Oh to be a meerkat

Today we went to Africa Alive in Suffolk which was good - very lucky with the weather; no rain at all and not too many little kids about!

I love watching the meerkats; they are very cute. This poor little guy was keeping watch over the rest of the troops. He was born in a zoo, has lived in a cage in the zoo probably all his life, he has likely never been attacked by anything while living in the zoo and yet he still keeps watch for enemy attack just in case!
