Curry stain I think

I noticed this rather colourful patch on the kitchen floor a few days ago, so had a go at it with Cif kitchen cleaner, which didn't get rid of the mark, but cleaned the floor surrounding it, emphasising it even more and showed how discoloured the floor had become, despite regular cleaning. So when the cleaner came today I asked her opinion. She returned later with her steam cleaner, which made the floor 10 shades lighter, but the mark stayed firmly put!! SO now at a loss of how to remove it, any ideas?
