Still doing well

This time I did have the macro lens with me and Job was such a good boy during our walk this afternoon that I was able to take several shots of what I think was a Silver Y moth that was feeding on some purple flowers at the park.

This evening I'd already chosen one of these shots as my blip, uploaded it and was about to write a comment for it when I suddenly remembered that I'd spotted the Great Crested Grebes family from the artificial island when I was riding along the river on my way to the sanctuary and that I hadn't even looked at the few photos that I'd stopped to take of them. Only one of these was sharp enough but as soon as I saw it, I knew that I had to blip it instead of the Silver Y moth. The Grebes still have all 4 chicks with them and they all seem to be doing very well.

The interview has been on my mind somewhat less than yesterday but only as long as I was able to keep busy.

Tomorrow is a public holiday here in Belgium which means that the sanctuary will be closed and that I'm going to spend the day at home.

Thank you so much for the kind and supportive comments and the stars on yesterday's blip.
