Guess the object(s)

Some pictures don't give much away. I like this guessing game, I'm sure it was in magazines or papers of old. I know the answer but do you?

This evening my bro was up and he put the new curtain pole up. The blip is of the curtain rings that came with it. They are surplus to requirements but they provided me with my blip so I got some use out of them after all. I've also got the new curtains up so it is positives all round : )
