Blipless..
Our son, A, and I spent many happy hours looking through trays, and ice cream tubs, and tins of coins. Saturday afternoons weren't spent watching men kicking a ball around, instead we'd travel to Hemel, or Luton, or Letchworth, or Watford visiting market stalls, coin shops, charity shops. They would cost little, and once people knew we collected coins, we be given tins of coins, saved leftover from holidays, or business trips.
We learned about Geography, and the ever changing political boundaries, history, chemistry, languages, and had fun together..
And every time we went to the shop in Hemel, and ask about 1/4 pennies, the shop owner would take us outside and point to the sun and moon and say "There's two far things". Dedicated to Simac, he likes far things!!..
