A visit to Nanny and Grandads

Eva had a very unsettled night waking around 1.30 am, 3.30am and 5.30 am, Mike thinks it's her little teeth coming through causing her to wake, so I've got the Bonjela at the ready tonight. She wasn't herself all day to be fair, poor little babba.

I walked round to my moms with Eva in her pushchair at lunchtime. Today's pic is of her Grandad holding her, sporting her new pink knitted cardigan, which was very kindly knitted by my mom and Peter's friend, Sylvia. Sadly I don't think it will fit her for long, my little chunk. It is gorgeous though and I love this picture.

She fell straight to sleep on the walk back, and I left her in her pushchair in the hall with Mike looking after her, and then had to round the kittens up, and take them straight out for their 9 week vaccinations.

They were all so chilled, bless them and all healthy, with good weights averaging around 1kg each. Daisy, who we're keeping, was 3rd heaviest, heavier than 2 of the boys! And our little Dora was the lightest, a little dot she is and so so sweet. I hope she finds a lovely home soon, she's such a lovely natured little thing, loves to be held in her arms and stroked, purrs her head off she does and just lies there all snuggly.

It was a very sad day for my friends and colleagues at Thomsons today. They were all called for a meeting and told that we had gone into administration, and nearly everyone has lost their jobs. The company who has taken us over is keeping certain roles going, and thankfully, me and Liza are both safe, for now. 17 years Monday just gone I've been there. End of an era after working with some of these people for nearly half my life. I'm going to miss them.
