Enormous glass

I have never seen such a big glass...I placed a normal wine glass next to it to show the difference in size. We are spending a few days in Akureyri in the north of Iceland, in an apartment belonging to my spouse's company. It is very luxurious, obviously it was bought and furnished before the financial crash in 2008. There are lots of glasses of all shapes and sizes and two of these enormous ones. I am not sure what one is supposed to do with it, surely not drink from it?! But it i nice to look at anyway.
