'Along The River'...

...Today is another beautiful day and so as I promised another country scene instead of a bottle of perfume - we took the car today for a drive along the river to Chaffey Bend, which is just down the road a bit..

...Lots of pot-holed roads along there near the sheep, not far from the river and we decided to drive inland for a mile or so and found a sleepy lizard on the road, we stopped naturally, I had great ideas of catching him to hold, and to capture him for posterity (I know how to hold them) but he was too smart for me and disappeared amongst the bushes and we could have been there all day looking for him and maybe have found a snake instead, right there - and so - back to the car, after passing a fisherman here and there with rods poised and who appeared astonished at sudden company.. and then back to the main track and a walk, and here you see John walking along one of the little paths right there, Along The River..
