Quiet Beach

When we arrived in Guernsey yesterday, it was gloriously warm with the sun shining brightly. Now that hasn't happened in many years!

This morning, as predicted, it was overcast, and was forecast to stay like that all day. But we still decided to head for the beach, as Amy and James really wanted to get in the sea! What a wise decision that was, as by mid afternoon the skies turned blue and the sun stayed out for the rest of the day.

Of course the up side to this late break in the weather, was an almost deserted beach!
