Water, water go away, come back another day
More often than not when I going through Bridgefoot Warrington this barge is parked up for the night or over the weekend, but today caught it just in time as it looks like its nearly finished the Phase 1 work for the Environment Agency and Warrington council putting £23 million flood defences in place. These defence run from near the old Range Warehouse to Bridgefoot and consist of large earth embankments, concrete encased steel piling walls, concrete fending walls and as shown here steel sheet piling walls.
The crane is a CKE700 unit with a 70 tonne lifting capacity however
with its boom and jib at full stretch it can only lift 2.5te.
