Knitting Pretty

Every year Knaresborough holds a ten day Festival of Entertainment and Visual Arts (feva).

Today I found the Castle surrounded and festooned with a 'rainbow of scarves' made by people of the town contributing to 'Knitting Pretty'.

Apparently 200 scarves made up the 'rainbow' and will be donated to the Operation Christmas Child Shoebox Appeal.
