Mr Friend Dougie

I've known Dougie for nearly 40 years (ouch, that hurt when I worked that out).

Dougie had a nasty accident Tuesday of last week when he was at work. He's been a carpenter for 30 years so he should have known better. He was working with a tool called a router (this tool shapes and cuts wood) when .... yes, you know what's coming ... he took the top off three fingers on his left hand!!!!

He actually didn't pass-out which amazes me as he's normally quite squeamish. A quick trip to A&E confirmed it wasn't as bad as first thought and thankfully will be able to resume work again soon.

At least he can still smile!
