This garden project has been on cards all summer but things domestically have conspired to delay the project. We hare having a belated birthday party for me on Sunday so it's been all hand's to the pump. The plan was to have the patio in another location but on Sunday night I had a light bulb moment and the plan was redrawn. Although the footing was dug ready for the sub base the Builders merchant didn't deliver until lunchtime which put the job back a few hours. By the time it was going dark 1 paving slab had been laid. My lads are great labourers although No2 son had difficulty taming the whacker plate.
