The Blue Book

I am a fan of Derek Jarman and have found his films, garden etc quite inspirational. The book 'Derek Jarman's Garden' with outstanding photographs by Howard Sooley, is one of my favourite things.
I was therefore very pleased to see that Summerhall festival venue was holding a small exhibition based on his last film 'Blue', and a book linked to the film which he didn't manage to finish.
The exhibition displays poignant and melancholic text from the book, and I was very moved by it.
By the way the whole Summerhall centre is fantastic, with many other ezhibitions, shows and a courtyard with many sheds all with interesting contents...it's worth a look.
