Time

Since March, unless I'm with someone else, I've rarely taken out my camera on my walks with Bill - and even if I have, I've been on "snap the image as quick as possible as you need to get back to checking no-one is coming" high alert.

Tonight was the first time I actually spent a bit of time doing what used to one of my favourite things - walking with my boy interspersed with frequent (and invariably long!) stops to see what I could capture with my camera and having him run back and wait patiently by my side until I'd finished.

It felt good to be doing it again - even if I ditched a large number of what I shot ;-)
