Buzzy bees

I knew there was a good reason for growing these artichokes and it wasn't for eating! The bees are going mad on them at the moment. Could have blipped a Holly Blue butterfly and Large White mating but the bees are so active on this plant that I chose the bees. It also shows that the farmers are cutting the rape as there are loads of little black bugs on the artichokes, anything yellow and especially yellow and white washing on the line.
I should really make a survey of the different bees but with grandchildren around I doubt I'll get round to that!
