Mummy bear

My parents were shopping in Belfast this afternoon, so they called round to see me afterwards and we went for dinner together. I shot a quick portrait of mum outside my house just before they left for the long drive home.

I've always looked a bit like my dad, but every year I'm noticing that I look more and more like mum. It's still just subtle features, but I see a lot of her when I look in the mirror these days. When I shoot weddings close to home people often stop me to tell me that I must be an Olphert (my mum's maiden name) because the family resemblance is so clear. If I look like mum in 27 years time I don't think I'll be too disappointed :)
